FloWorks Loading Points and Berths

In this tutorial you will model a supply chain where a bulk product is loaded into vessels at one location and unloaded at another location. You can keep in mind for example transport of ore, rocks or chemical pellets.

Task 3.1

Import and export

You will set up the first version of the model, with a production facility at one location, a consumer at another location, and a fixed fleet of vessels.

Task 3.2

Multi-compartment loading

You will introduce a second flow which arrives by truck and is to be loaded in a secondary compartment on the vessels. The vessels will then travel to two different locations to unload the products.
